In our lives, patience in general is a precious virtue that people should have. More emphasis should be given in its importance in the field of body building whether if you are into losing weight or gaining muscles. Sadly most people prefer the fast and easy way not knowing that this is most likely defective. It takes a lot of patience in order to have a lasting effect.

Over the years, you will see people fail because they used a wrong strategy such as starving themselves and do weights that are not appropriate for their body strength. These modes took a toll in their bodies and lives after a period of time. At some point, these same people limit their social life in fear of not being around their food. Worse, some of them loss hope and give up because they do not see the end results they wish to achieve.

You must put in mind that great results can only be achieved with patience. Start with healthy and balance diet without having to starve yourself and later on minimize your calorie intakes. In lifting weights, start with something that you can handle and do not jump to higher levels of weight and exercises. You might hurt yourself in the process.

You might also consider consulting your doctor first to avoid complications regarding your health.  Do not be hasty in achieving the perfect body you want.
